The Arc (formerly known as the Association for Retarded Citizens of the United States) is a national organization on mental retardation.
The Arc of Kansas is the state's largest grassroots organization devoted to mental retardation. It is a non-profit 501 (C)(3) organization. We are in our 43rd year of helping people with mental retardation and other disabilities. The Arc of Kansas is represented across the state by over 1,000 members in 21 chapters.
